Marula Design - Shweshwe

After seeing all the beautiful Shweshwe material available in the shops in Gaborone I was tempted to start designing and sewing some products that people could use, give as gifts or take home as souvenirs from Africa. My daughter bought me a sewing machine and I couldn’t wait to get started. After alot of research I had some fun designing products that are useful and affordable but colourful and appealing to the eye. Marula Designs was born!

I work from home and as yet I don’t have a shop but I will be doing the local markets and hope to persuade some of the shops in town to stock my products.
